The ENVY 5055 has been recently update, both drivers and firmware.
If you are having problems with Wi-Fi it is possibly due to security changes that could be fixed with a firmware update.
You should use the windows setting "add remove" to remove a printer rather than delete a device.
Disconnect the USB cable.
Please use the "add or remove" feature to uninstall the 5055 printer drivers
Go here and download the print and scan driver
select USB if asked and connect the USB after installation or when asked to connect the cable.
get a print report and verify the firmware is dated Oct 2022. if older then update the firmware
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/en5000_2237A/EN5000_2237A.exe
The manual is here
http://www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05643392.pdf
If you wish to use Wi-Fi then use WPS and connect the router to the printer using the routers WPS feature. if that feature is missing then select WPA2 and ensure the latest firmware is in the printer.
