Hi,when i try to print a 6x4 (15cm x 10cm) photo there is a 5mm border at top and bottom.there is a 5mm border on left and 10mm border on right meaning the photo prints at 13.5cm x 9cm.If I print it on A4 paper it comes out at 15cm x 10cm.

I can't find an option for borderless printing on my PC but there is one on the android app but it's greyed-out.

Can anyone help...............thanks

Hi,

Your printer does not support borderless printing, this is an expected bahevior.

Below are the minimum margins for your printer hardware, which cannot be exceeded:

To get even margins, set the margins to 12.7.

Another option to minimize the bottom margin would be using a paper with a bottom tab such as below example:

Thanks for that info.I have tried adjusting margins without success. The problem is that the 6x4 photo does not fill the preview box.I can move the 6x4 within the box but not so it shows the full 6x4.I'm thinking that maybe the problem is with the preview box as I had a similar problem with a Canon printer.Any ideas?

The only way I can get a 6x4 to print at 6x4 is to use a larger size paper then cut out the 6x4.

Hi,

As said, this is a limitation of the hardware and the bottom 12.7mm (0.5 inches) would always cut, this is expected, as listed by the printer specifications, printing on larger paper would be a must to get a full page photo.

As suggested, you may get a Photo Paper with a tab (a bigger paper), set the print job size to the full page (6.5 x 4 inches) size and then remove the bottom 0.5 inches tab to get edge-to-edge printing

Your printer model does not support border-less printing and cannot print from edge to edge of the paper.

Ok.Thanks again.Tomorrow I'll experiment with the margins but i'm convinced the problem is with the preview box as I've been able to print a 6x4 before and it filled the preview box without margins.I'll include screenshots as this might be more helpful.........Thanks

Hi,sorry for the delay posting but I've been away.I've attached a screenshot which i hope can explain my problem. It's the borders on the preview box I want to remove.I've tried all the possible settings but can't make the photo fit the box. Preview box.JPG
