HP Recommended
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

After finding on the HP site the driver for my HP 7520 All-in

- which I need to reinstall on my iMac (Catalina OS 10.15.7) after deleting the previous version to get rid of the weird messages about pde and other plugins that could damage my computer, and won’t let me print  -
and downloading the latest update of the driver
I get to a page which says there should be a file to open in the lower left hand corner of my browser

but there’s no such file there, in the left bottom corner or anywhere on my browser page. 
 
And when I click on the HP Easy Start App that I got on my desktop by opening the HP Easy Start. app.zip from the download, and go through all the steps advised, I get to a page 
 
headed HP Easy Start and blank except for words that say "Preparing for device setup…” and above them the little blue wheel going round and round and round for ever, without any further progress. 
 
What can I do?
