Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

Hi. I've got the dreaded 79 Service Error on my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281.

The printing keeps on turning itself off and on and at the end of the startup, it initializes, seems ok for a moment and then displays 79 Service Error and the startup loop begins all over again.

Things I've tried: turning off/on, pulling power plug for 60 seconds, rebooting router,  loading the latest firmware, factory reset on screen. Nothing has worked.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Thank you!

I've started getting this error after the printer asked if I wanted to update the firmware and I said yes. I've noticed the 79 service error shows up as soon as I connect the network cable. If I leave the network cable disconnected I don't get the error.

Turning IPv6 to off on printer worked for me. I had to first unplug network cable and turn off Wifi on printer first. Cause if I let it connect to the router then within a few seconds would give me the 79 service error and reboot.

setup >> network setup >> network services >> IPV6 to OFF

Then turn wifi back on again or connect to router via ethernet cable.
