HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e All-in-One Printer

My 9022e connects fine to the internet, through RJ45, and it prints just fine.

However, it gets stuck on the screen "downloading updates ... 00%" then I get an error message saying that the update package could not be downloaded, with 2 options "Retry" or "OK".

Is there a way that I can download the update to my PC and force it to the printer via the Ethernet network ?

Is this problem a known issue ?

The other issue I find is that I can't change the setting whether or not the printer updates automatically. The other 2 choices "warn me when an update is available" or "don't look for updates" are disabled / grayed out;

I am fed up of the message of update download error, so I want to get rid of the automatic update setting.

I did a factory reset of the printer. It solves the second part of my issue, I can now select "Warn me in case updates are available" instead of "Automatically update".

However the update download gets stuck at 0% still.
