I'm having difficulty printing A3.
On the printer screen, it is showing that Tray 1 is loaded with A4 paper and Tray 2 is loaded with A3 paper both of which are correct.
If I then go to Printer Properties/Device Settings screen on my pc,
- under 'Form to Tray Assignment' Tray 1 is correctly shown as A4 but, instead of a Tray 2, there is only a Photo Tray.
- under 'Installable Options' there is a duplexing unit and photo tray both showing as installed.
The printer driver, which was automatically installed is described as HP PCL3 B-Size Printer Class Driver.
I've done all the usual automated checks and everything is OK
Can someone help me get rid of the photo tray option and have in its place a Tray 2 which I assume is what I need to do to get A3 printing working

If I selected phototray, all I would get are paper sizes that did not go up to A3 - the max size of the papertray. So not a viablt option I'm afraid.
I eventually got round the problem by unistalling all HP software on my PC, deleting some HP directories that remained, running a registry cleaner, and finally resetting the printer. I then started a new installation that worked. I now have a 'Tray 2' with a paper size that included A3 and A3+

Welcome to HP Support Community
I would like to help
The 2nd Tray is the Photo Tray which usually is used for Photo papers
Try selecting the Photo Tray.
Thank you
