HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a

SERIAL NUMBER [Personal Information Removed]

A colleague told me that the printer becoming dead might be due to a broken spare part (located inside, in the lower part of the printer), where the cord going out to the wall socket is connected. I could not find the details of such a spare part in order to purchase it. Could anybody give me the spare part number, name, or anything that could help? Many thanks

I appreciate your help. Of all the options showed below, the only one I have not yet tried is replacing the CMOS battery of the printer. However, I am not sure that the depletion of the battery could cause the printer not to turn on. But anyway, I will certainly try that alternative and get back if I manage to solve the issue. Many thanks again

I need to unscrew the panel and then remove the internal part into which the electric wall cord connects. Any idea of what type of screws are those? Are they Torx type perhaps?
