Product: HP ENVY 5532
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

i am working from home using a company computer and network, but company policy does not allow ms-store to be used so i can't download the updates for the hp smart app for my printer. I have asked my company IT dept if there is a work around but it's not possible, therefore is there another way of being able to download/update the hp-smart app.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

No.

The HP Smart app can only be installed from the Microsoft Store.

 

You may still install and use the printer however using its HP Basic Driver option instead of HP Smart, this is a standard installation and can be installed as long as you have full administrator privileges on your compute to install a software:
