Hi @Dontex44,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, the HP DeskJet 2852e printer is compatible with the iPad Mini, as it supports AirPrint, which is Apple's wireless printing technology. This allows you to print directly from your iPad Mini without needing to install additional drivers or software.

Ensure Printer and iPad are on the Same Wi-Fi Network:

  • Connect your printer to your Wi-Fi network using the instructions in your printer's manual.
  • Make sure your iPad Mini is also connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Verify AirPrint Support:

  • The DeskJet 2852e supports AirPrint by default. No additional setup should be necessary.

Print a Document or Photo:

  • Open the document, photo, or webpage you want to print on your iPad Mini.
  • Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing upward).
  • Select Print from the list of options.
  • Choose your printer (it should appear automatically if both devices are on the same network).
  • Adjust any printing preferences, such as the number of copies or page range, and then tap Print.

Troubleshooting:

  • If the printer doesn’t appear in the list, ensure it is powered on, connected to the network, and ready.
  • Restart both the printer and the iPad Mini.
  • Ensure that your iPad Mini is updated to the latest iOS version.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
