HP LaserJet Enterprise M605x

I would like to know the service code for an HP M605 Laserjet and where to find it.

Is there a way to reset this code?

Also, where can I find the Administrator Access Code?

Hello,

Service Code for HP LaserJet M605:
The service code you're referring to could be either a error code or a service mode code.
For error codes, these are typically displayed on the printer's control panel when there's an issue like a jam, paper feed error, or toner issue.   tiktok video downloader app
For service mode codes, these are used by HP technicians to diagnose issues, and you may need to enter the printer's service menu to get specific codes for deeper diagnostics.
2. Finding the Service Code:
Error Codes: They are shown on the printer’s control panel or displayed in the printer's embedded web server (EWS) under "Device Status."
Service Mode:
Turn off the printer.
Hold down the "Go" button while turning the printer back on.
Release the "Go" button after a few seconds when the printer enters service mode.
The service codes can be found through the menu options on the control panel or via the printer’s EWS.
3. Resetting the Service Code:
If it's a maintenance or error code, it generally resets after you resolve the underlying issue (such as clearing a paper jam or replacing a component).
If you're dealing with a service mode issue, a reset or restart of the printer often clears temporary errors.
4. Administrator Access Code:
The Administrator Access Code (also referred to as the PIN or Admin Password) is used to access the printer’s administrator settings and configuration menu.
If the code hasn't been set by someone else, it is often the default: 123456.
If the default doesn’t work and you’ve forgotten or need to reset it, you’ll need to reset the printer’s settings to factory defaults, which can usually be done via the printer’s EWS (Embedded Web Server) or the Control Panel under "Admin" settings.
5. How to Reset the Administrator Code:
Using Control Panel:
Go to Menu > Setup > Network > Restore Factory Defaults.
This will reset all settings, including any admin access code you’ve set, but you will lose other customized settings.
Using the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
Access the printer’s EWS by typing the printer’s IP address into a web browser.
Navigate to Security settings to either change or reset the admin password.

Best Regards
