In an effort to improve the security of a new OfficeJet Pro 7740 wide format printer, I created an administrator password under Settings - Security - Password Settings in the embedded web server. All went well until I attempted to make a change to the printer settings. As expected, I was asked for the user name (admin) and the seconds-old password. The password was created by a password manager program so I know what it is. The printer responds by re-presenting the log-in screen. I can no longer make changes to the printer settings. Disabling the VPN has not resolved the issue. Please tell me how to fix the issue, or how to reset the printer to factory settings and I will start again.

Hi @micmou,
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
