Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

On my MAC running Catalina 10.15, the Advanced Settings option is blank within the HP Smart app (version 5.0).  The status of the printer shows as 'Ready', and it prints wirelessly via my home network.  I've installed the latest Catalina OS, have reset the printing system within system preferences, and power cycled the computer.  I'm trying to access advanced settings to ensure the latest firmware is installed since I know this is an older model.  Who can help me solve this?

I'd like to help!

 

Please try and uninstall and reinstall the smart app.

 

You can install the app from here

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
