@Morphy2, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

We understand that you are unable to print post installation.

Please follow these steps,
Verify Driver Installation

  • Ensure the correct and latest driver is installed from the official HP support page.
  • If unsure, uninstall the current driver and reinstall using the HP Smart App or the Full Feature Software and Drivers package.

Check Printer Connection

  • Confirm the printer is properly connected via USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet.
  • For Wi-Fi, ensure the printer and PC are on the same network.

Set as Default Printer

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the HP Laser MFP 137fnw, and select Set as default printer.

Clear Print Queue

  • Sometimes stuck print jobs can block new ones. Clear the queue from Devices and Printers.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

Check for Windows Updates

  • Ensure your system is up to date, especially if you're using Windows 10 or 11.

  1. Firewall/Antivirus Interference: Temporarily disable them to see if printing works.
  2. Print Spooler Service: Make sure the Print Spooler service is running. You can restart it via services.msc.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
