Product: HP Officejet 4500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - G510n

Just bought a new Dell Inspiron 3910 desktop with Windows11 Home and trying to install my old printer/scanner HP Officejet 4500.  I got the print function to work but not scanner.  Keeps saying the "Extraction Failed" and "can not delete out put files".   Is it too old?  If I bought a new printer/scanner will it work?

Please use HP Scan Extended software to scan:


                       https://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi


Once it's downloaded and installed, for Windows 10/11:


(a) Hit Win key,
(b) Scroll down to HP group/folder,
(c) Double click "HP Scan Extended"


You can put a shortcut on Taskbar or Desktop
