I have followed all of the troubleshooting suggestions, and my prints all continue to come out blue.  Any thoughts on how to correct this?

@pwobriz, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer is printing only in blue despite following troubleshooting steps, try these solutions:

1. Check Ink Levels

  • Go to Printer Settings > Ink Levels and check if other colors (especially yellow and magenta) are low or empty.
  • Replace any depleted cartridges.

2. Perform a Printhead Cleaning

  • On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead.
  • Run the cleaning cycle 2-3 times if needed.

3. Manually Clean the Printhead

If an automatic cleaning doesn’t work, manually clean the printhead:

  • Remove the ink cartridges.
  • Dab a lint-free cloth with warm, distilled water and gently wipe the printhead.
  • Let it dry and reinstall the cartridges.

4. Align the Printhead

  • Go to Setup > Tools > Align Printhead to ensure proper ink flow.

5. Check Cartridge Vents

  • Remove the cartridges and inspect the vent area (small holes on top).
  • If clogged, gently clean them with a pin or paper towel.

6. Use Genuine HP Ink

  • Non-HP or refilled cartridges may cause printing issues. Try using genuine HP ink.

7. Update Printer Firmware

8. Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 2-3 minutes, and restart.

Let me know if you need more help!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
