Hi @Ssv1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're seeing a popup to reinstall your AMD graphics driver when you start your HP laptop, it could be due to a few reasons.

  • Driver Corruption: The current driver might be corrupted or incompatible with your system.
  • Driver Update: There could be an update or a new version of the driver available.
  • Software Conflict: Sometimes, other software or updates can cause issues with the graphics driver.

Here’s how you can reinstall the AMD graphics driver:

Uninstall the Current Driver:

  • Press Windows + X and select Device Manager.
  • Expand the Display adapters section.
  • Right-click on your AMD graphics card and select Uninstall device.
  • Check the box that says Delete the driver software for this device, if available.
  • Restart your laptop.

Download the Latest Driver:

  • Go to the AMD website: AMD Drivers and Support.
  • Search for your specific graphics card model and download the latest driver.

Install the New Driver:

  • Run the installer you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Restart your laptop if prompted.

Update through Windows Update (if applicable):

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.
  • Check for updates and install any that are available, which might include driver updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
