Anybody know the difference between the HP laserjet 1536 and the laserjet PRO 1536?

Thanks,

The correct description of this model is an HP Laserjet Pro M1536. Likely someone just shortened it at one point or another. As far as I know there has only been one 1536 printer, at least in North America.

Hi, I have this printer and the name printed on the the printer's control panel itself omits the "Pro"  in the name (stating only "HP laserjet 1536dnf MFP"). The current models reference "laserjet PRO". I was wondering if there had been an upgrade and what mine might be lacking.

Thanks

Likely not, it is more likely that this model was in production when HP changed model designations to better separate low, mid and enterprise products. On the serial number sticker there is a product or model number and you can compare those.
