The HP Smart app already supports Apple M1 chip. Please make sure you are using latest version from the App Store. The current version is 12.8.0.
Also, let us know your Printer name to check if your Printer supports the HP Smart App.

That is correct, the HP Smart app does support the Apple M1 chip. But the current version is an app made for Intel based Macs and is not native to Apple silicon. The only way to get it to work on Intel Macs would be to use Rosetta 2, but still it is not native. So that is why I am asking, when will the HP Smart app natively support the Apple silicon?
