I have tried everything suggested here for 2 days to get my printer working. How HP could allow their certifications to lapse  literally boggles my mind.  Thousands of users without use of their printers, no contact to any of us from the company and no way to contact customer support.

Apple Customer Care spent time with me... TWICE!  They said they were getting complaints about this.  The fact that HP has such absent customer support speaks volumes - (Not even an email or an announcement to the community out here.)

This teaches me the value of radical customer care and communication. The fact that nobody at HP seems to have noticed or care that this has happened to so many users is quite alarming.  And telling.

Hi Riddle_Decipher,

I just messaged you back with the info you requested.  It is really helpful to finally hear from corporate about this.

Hopefully I can get a printer driver to work my HP 6940. It's been a fabulous workhorse over the years. It would be disappointing to have to throw it  (and my extra cartridges) out over this.

@Udana I saw your message, and I see that you've not mentioned your phone number nor the region/country you are contacting us from,

Please share those details in the private message section, so I can help you out.

Hi Riddle,

I just saw this message.  Have the drivers for the HP 6940  been fixed yet?  I would still like to use my printer rather than throw it out.  It's been fabulous and I still have (expensive) ink cartridges that Office Depot will not take as returns.

Thank you,Udana [Personal Information Removed]
