HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer
macOS 15.0 Sequoia

Just updated my macbook pro to Sequoia 15.7.9. After install, I received a message from Apple saying HP Software for this printer won't be supported after this update. What will happen then? I've only had the printer for 4 days, and it can go back if there’s going to be a problem with software down the line. Any help?

Hello @grambo1, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand your concern, especially since you've only had the HP ENVY 6132e for a few days.

The good news is that the ENVY 6132e is officially listed as compatible with macOS Sequoia (macOS 15), so updating to Sequoia does not mean that your printer will stop working. HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer | HP® Ireland

The message from Apple is likely referring to older HP printer software or drivers rather than the printer itself. Your ENVY 6132e supports Apple AirPrint, which allows your Mac to print without requiring a traditional printer driver. HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Support

If you ever see an issue after a macOS update, you can add the printer through:

Apple menu > System Settings > Printers & Scanners > Add Printer

When the ENVY 6132e appears, select it and use AirPrint if offered. Apple confirms that AirPrint-enabled printers do not require additional printer drivers or software for printing.

I hope this helps!

Have a great day!
