Are there firmware upgrades for HP printers?

Hi.  I have been asked by a service person to ensure that my printer has a firmware upgrade before further troubleshooting.  I have checked the HP website but I cannot find any mention of a firmware upgrade,  just drivers.  Is there such a thing as a firmware upgrade for this printer and if so where would I find it?

Thanks for the firmware link. Unfortunately this appears to be a Windows update. I am using Mac OS 12 Sierra.  Is there a Mac version of this update?

Hi.  Thanks for the link.  It is a 7.8 mb download. It goes to around 5.0 and quits.  I have tried it 20 times.  I will wait for a few hours and try again.

Please try using below link instead:

if that fails too try the one below and check:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/oj7110/OJ7110_R1750.dmg

If the same results persists try using another browser and check if you may see any difference, I were able to download the file with no issue at all..

Yes the first link worked. The app found the printer and updated it. Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately the Magenta light is still blinking. Looks like it may be a printer head issue. I will have to check all the pins in the head. I probably bent something at the last cartridge change.
