Many models affected. Mine is: HP Deskjet 3500 series All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I feel as though I have tried the full gamut of available recommended fixes for my printer's Wifi connectivity issue between it and my laptops (HP Envy 17 & Toshiba Satellite L55t-B5271). These fixes have been from the easy: run various troubleshooters and uninstall and reinstall software and drivers to the more complex. Nothing has worked to date. In fact, I have only seen one of these issues actually solved. The rest of the requests for help seem to be abandoned because nothing worked and no other options were left to try.

It concerns me that, in my experience thus far,  HP and Microsoft seem to be dealing with this issue more as isolated incidents than a large-scale problem. However, my multi forum searches across the Internet for a fix indicates otherwise to me.

Therefore, I would like to start this thread to help bring this connectivity problem into better light. If you are having a problem with your printer and Wifi connectivity please respond to this post with at least your operating system and printer information. If you want to outline your failed fix attempts, please include that too... or any thing else you want to include or express.

My main objective here is to demonstrate that I am not one of a select few. There are bunches of us in this same boat. So, if you are having a problem, I hope you elect to contribute to this thread. Thanks bunches in advance!.

My info:

Windows 10 (1909) & HP Envy 17

Windows 10 (1803) & Toshiba Satellite L55t-B5271

I have tried every fix that I have been able to locate via multiple Internet forums ranging from simple to complex: HP Scan Doctor, Microsoft troubleshooters, uninstalling & reinstalling software and drivers, setting up as usb printer and converting to a wifi connected printer, creating a new port, looking for ghost devices, purging print cache, root uninstall of printer, software, driver, starting various Windows services, creating inbound and outbound firewall rules for missing ports, etc.

And, of course, if you have been permanently helped by a specific fix, please let us know how it was accomplished so that everyone else can try it too.

In an attempt to obtain a fix for my printer Wifi connectivity issue, I have started and/or responded to these forum threads:

Deskjet 3512 wifi connectivity problem

Really great older topic response re: WIA, but more information, please...

Printing OK with USB but printer will not connect to home wifi network

Are you having printer Wifi connectivity problems too?

As per HP Support Agent, Asmita6658, in this thread, Really great older topic response re: WIA, but more information, please... , I would be contacted privately by another HP Support Agent. After supplying only my name, my printer model, and my printer serial number to him, this is the response I just received from him today:

Directing me to the HP Sales Department so that I can purchase a new printer is not the type of help I need given that this printer, as per HP,  is Windows 10 compatible without issue.

HAVING TO PURCHASE A NEW PRINTER IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SOLUTION TO ME.
