Automatic double sided printing not possible

Doublesided printer is not working.

Re-installed the printer software.

To my surprise, after finishing the installation, I was not able to use the automatic double-sided printer function.

Also the page was not printed totally (A4), missed 3 lines pf text.

Please advice how to change this, or where can I find the former software.

I am like 99% sure that HP Photosmart Plus doesn't support automatic double-sided printing.

What is your exact printer model and product number as listed on the back of the printer or within the cartridge access door?

Here are the details of the Photosmart:

Type HD Photosmart Plus

Cartridge 364

Type: B 209-m

I am sorry I can not give you more details.

I bought the printer 1 year ago.

Was using the HP mostly for simple printing.

Now I needed to print an overview and I wanted to use the possibility as shown in the menu where double sided printing is one of the choices.

Thank you all for the answer2 I received.

Interesting however was that the printer double printed when I first used it.

However will seel this one, because maybe another person will be in need of a 2nd hand printer.
