When selecting to print using Avery labels 4173 the labels are out of alignment (Creep up the page). I've tried same document on another printer and they are okay. Checked to see if it was a Windows 10 or 11 problem, but it stays the same, so I'm presuming it's a printer software/driver issue.
Anyone else come across this?
What do I need to do?
regards
Russ

Hi @Russ2601,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
I understand that the Avery labels are off-alignment when printing from your Hp envy 6432e
I'd like to help.
I suggest you remove all the Labels and do a Printer Reset.
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Then put back the papers and adjust the labels with the Paper Guides to ensure they are held in place properly.
You can also try the following steps.
- Please open devices and printers by searching on the control panel.
- Right-click on the printer.
- Select printer preferences.
- Select Paper/Quality.
- Click on Media and change it to labels.
If the issue persists, try updating the Firmware from here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
