Hi @GWREALTY50

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I understand you would like to make sure the previous owner's cloud-related settings were removed from the printer.

For an HP OfficeJet 7000, if you accessed the printer's Embedded Web Server (IP address page) and performed a reset that removed Web Services, network settings, and any HP cloud/account connections, that is generally the correct approach. However, it is not possible to confirm remotely whether the reset completed successfully.

You can verify it by checking:

  1. Open the printer's Embedded Web Server again using its IP address.
  2. Look for Web Services or HP Connected Services.
    • If Web Services are disabled or require setup again, the previous cloud connection has been removed.
  3. Check whether the printer is requesting fresh network setup or Web Services enrollment.
  4. Print a Network Configuration or Information page and review whether any previous owner's email address, HP account information, or Web Services details are listed.

If you can share the exact reset option you selected from the printer's IP page (for example, "Restore Network Defaults," "Restore Factory Defaults," or a screenshot of the page), I can help determine whether it removed the cloud settings completely.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
