Ink Tank 319
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have purchased HP Ink Tank. Normal print quality is good.

But When I am using Photo paper, the quality is very bad. Also the ink is getting rubbed with finger.

Paper used: Desmat Inkjet Photo Paper (www.desmat.com)

Setting: A4 / Best Quality / Photo Paper

OS: Windows 10 64bit. (Note: print failed in windows 7 on selecting best quality)

Note: This is from 1st day of my purchase with original HP ink.

Can you please let me know how I can fix this? Do I need to change the paper(if so please suggest me type of paper and brand).?Or is there any problem in my printer?

@Oksoumendra, Welcome to HP Support Community!

I see that the photo printing on the printer is getting smudged, this could be an issue with the printer ink system or the paper used.

Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue. Refer to the printer specifications to understand the supported paper type and size. Refer to the document Product Specifications for the HP Ink Tank 319 Printer (Z6Z13A) for help.

Use the document HP Printers - How to Print Photos (Windows) to learn how to print photos.

Additionally, Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

You can also try the steps from the document Black Ink Not Printing and Other Print Quality Issues to resolve any print quality issues.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
