HP DeskJet 4158e All-in-One Printer

**bleep** HP?

My printer is being held hostage by the HP Instant Ink Program.

Why does HP push their Instant Ink program when all it does is causing problems.

I had an HP Officejet 8600 which I though was broken after replacing HP cartridges that HP informed me were not authorized ink.  I purchased new ink not realizing it had to do with the Instant Ink Program.  I finally replaced the printer with a Deskjet 4100, registered for ink and immediately my printer stopped working - EVEN THOUGH I used the ink in the new box.  We then left for Florida for 6 months.  I purchased a Canon to use in Florida - not one problem.

Came home and Instant Ink cartridges were delivered.  I put them in printer and after multiple printed pages finally got the printer to work.

I went to print yesterday 7/20/23 and printer is refusing to print.  FINALLY went to support and had to update payment info thinking that would solve the problem.  NOT SO.

PRINTER IS STILL OFFLINE.
