HP LaserJet P2055dn Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have investigated ToolBoxFx, EWS, DCU, Universal Print Driver, Smart Printing and HP Smart to get our printer installed and online with no success.

I can see the P2055 printer in HP Smart but I cannot get it online.

Can someone direct me to proper installation instruction for the P2055dn?

Many, Many Thanks!

Currently the best method in my opinion is the user the Smart Universal Printer Driver. https://support.hp.com/ca-en/help/smartupd

Thanks for the feedback.

Two questions:

1. I could not find the LaserJet P2055dn on the supported HP list. Do you know if it is supported?

2. After some SUPD reading it seems that it is for Corporate use. Do you also recommend it for Home use? I have two HP printers LaserJet P2055dn and Officejet 9020e.

Thanks!

I would try it. The list provided by HP is simply models they have tested. I have recommended to other posters here for older printers with good success. I would use the driver anywhere. Hp tries to steer home users to HP Smart, but personally I feel the UPD is superior.
