I changed the black ink on my printer and now there is no ink. Nothing not even a dot.

ive tried all the trouble shooting recommended and I’ve tried another cartridge in case it was faulty. Nothing worked, any ideas?

Hi @Rach101

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print in black. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

Try making a standalone copy in black and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, I'm afraid this could be a hardware issue with the printer as you have used a new ink cartridge too.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
