hp BDRW BU20N
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I am trying to understand why my external Blu Ray Burner that I bought from Amazon indicates it as

"4K Blu Ray Drive, TopElek USB3.0" but under Mac OSX system spec it shows hp BDRW  BU20N.

Is this really a hp BDRW  BU20N and if so, where can I find the specs?

Thanks

I am unsure, which is why I sent the original tech info from Mac book my preferences as well as a screenshot. The original order said it was "4K Blu Ray drive, TopElek USB 3.0 External Harddrive CD/DVD Burner/Write". However, when I looked at the tech specs from my Macbook preferences, it said: "hp BDRW BU20N.

Does that mean this device is compatible with a "hp BDRW BU20N" device?

Thanks

This could be a driver issue with your MAC recognizing it as a different product since this doesn't seem to be an HP Product
