I want to print close to the edge for a return address on a #10 envelope. I am using an HP 9015e and Windows 10. I have Office 365 so Word and Publisher are available to me. The printer software indicates a conflict if I select borderless and a #10 envelope. Any Ideas?

Hi,

Border-less. printing is supported for Photo Paper only, any such is not supported on media as Envelopes or Plain Paper.

A minimum print margin of 3.3mm would apply for each side of the envelope, you need to set up your document not to cross these limitations and have a minimum margins of 3.3mm for each side of the document.

Thanks for the reply Shlomil. I have tried to set the margins on the envelope in the Word software (.14") but it cuts off the photo vertically that I am trying to place there (business return address). Trying to set that margin in the printer software takes me back to the Word software. Still stuck.

There are often minimum margin requirements hard coded for some paper types like envelopes because the printers are unable to provide exact ink placement at the edge where the paper is slightly thicker due to the fold in the paper. I am not saying that this is the problem but is a possibility.
