I'm on MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1, using an HP Envy 6020e
I want to print an A4 Pages document without borders, on plain (not photo) paper. I believe my printer is capable, but can't find the correct settings - I've set all margins to 0 and, on the printer settings page I have 'Border' set to 'none'...but it still insists on giving me a 1/8" white border all round? I can't see how to upload the screenshot here?
Can anyone help me (in words of one syllable and ABC123 language pretty please?!) TIA

According to the specifications, that is, "what the printer can do",
Borderless printing is supported up to 8.5 X 11 inches.

The limitation is likely mechanical.
Pah describes it quite well and is one syllable.
Smiling.
I managed to purchase some A4 paper one time to test something for a customer in the Community.
I had to get the paper from your side of the Pond (I'm in the USA).
It was a tad expensive and took a while to get here.
Sure, I might have found A4 paper locally, I just didn't come across a source when I was checking.
If you want the project bad enough to do so, check whether Amazon or someone will send you some Letter size paper.
Probably be less expensive and irritating to have the project printed at a local shop.
Good Luck.

Thanks for your suggestions, @Dragon-Fur. However, I had already ordered some more A4 from Amazon - and, looking at the prices of US letter-size….well, I’ll pass on that!! It’s not a ‘professional’ type document, so I’ll just have to swallow my irritation and crack on!! Thanks again!

So are you saying that borderless printing - on UK A4, plain paper - IS possible, despite what Dragon-Fur is saying? Now I feel even more confused! Where would I find ‘borderless printing’ or ‘edge-to-edge printing’ options? I think I’ve seen them when printing photos, but can’t see them printing a document? (As I said in my post, I do have all margins on 0 and the border option is set to ‘none’)

We see this on occasion -- a mew member, a random new user, will suddenly sign up as a member of the Community and start posting.
Be very careful -
For example, do not click on random links that might show up in these sorts of posts.
Why? Innocent looking posts by new members that show up where they are unexpected might be a prelude to something nefarious.
Is this member's post dangerous, wrong, or suspect?
No, not at the moment.
For that reason, the post is allowed to be left in place.
I'll do what I can to have the post checked.
What to believe?
In so much that I'm aware, there is evidence in this instance that all of the HP documentation is correct.
