Borderless printing on plain paper

I wish to print a leaflet whose first page is an image. I want it to fill the whole page. Is it possible to print borderless on plain paper? Printer HP Envy 5530. Last drivers installed.

Hi @fmonso,

On most HP inkjets, including the ENVY 5530, the borderless option only becomes available when a photo paper type is selected; plain paper is printed with a small margin by design.

In Printing preferences, set the paper size to Letter/A4 and the paper type to an HP photo paper (glossy or matte).
Turn on the Borderless option (Layout or Paper/Quality tab, depending on the driver).
For best results, load photo or brochure paper; if you use plain paper with a photo setting, the edges may show light overspray and the ink can take longer to dry.
Alternatively, design the leaflet with a small white margin, or print slightly larger and trim the edges.
