Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

In what print software dialog are you clicking "Borderless" to print the Word document?

I might not be able to fix it, but I am curious...

If printing from within Word does not actually support Borderless printing,

Respect the minimum print margins - that is, make sure ALL content is inside the printable area.

"All" includes borders, footers / headers, images.

Print Margin Bottom (A4)3.3 mm
Print Margin Left (A4)3.3 mm
Print Margin Right (A4)3.3 mm
Print Margin Top (A4)3.3 mm

Next,

Regardless, one thing to check:

Make sure the automatic Scaling is not enabled.

 Word – Document Scale

Trouble with labels and possibly with other documents that include mixed content types:

Document Scale

There is a setting in Word that will "scale" a document for Letter / A4 paper.

If you are having alignment issues with your document (for example, labels, bottom of page chopped), UNCHECK this setting.

When printing directly from within Word

Setup:

Word > FileOptions > Advanced

In Section Print (about 2/3 of the way down)

UNCHECK "Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes

Click OK to save changes

Moving on...

Some Prep and Review...

True - Exporting the document to PDF also exports the original document's margins.

The printer supports borderless printing:

Product Specifications for the HP Smart Tank 7301e All-in-One (28B70A)

Borderless printing
Yes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 210 x 297 mm)

True, there might be limitations for Borderless printing for both paper size and paper type.

Borderless might depend on content type - that is, Borderless might be limited to Photos / Image files.

The printer likely print Borderless content on supported Photo Paper and on Brochure / Professional paper

Media types
Plain Paper, HP Photo Papers, HP Matte Brochure or Professional Paper, HP Matte Presentation Paper, HP Glossy Brochure or Professional Paper, Other Photo Inkjet Papers, Other Matte Inkjet Papers, Other Glossy Inkjet Papers, Light/Recycled
Media weight supported (metric)
60 to 105 g/m²
Media weight supported (U.S. standard)
Plain paper: 16 to 28 lb; Envelopes: 20 to 24 lb; Cards: up to 110 lb; Photo paper: up to 66 lb

Get there from here - Print Borderless

Open the document - display it on the screen of your computer.

Create a Snip of the information on the page > save the snipped image as a .jpg file > print that file.

If you don't have a requirement for "exact" scale,

Print with HP Smart app (Windows)

Select the options, including "Scaling" = Crop

Example - HP Smart - Windows - Simple Photo Print - Borderless - 5x7  10/21
