HP ENVY Inspire 7955e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

My Levano computer does not see the printer while both are on the same wifi.  Computer can't see the printer with USB cable attached.  Yes, the printer is turned on.

I am using HP Printer Assistant to try to add the 7900e device.  I already have another HP 6975 printer connected and functioning wireless with the Levano computer.  I have tried using the wizard and manually.

HP wants $20 to try to help.   They have low hostage ransoms for their inferior product.

If you connect using USB you need to reset it so it can get into wifi mode

Click here for network setup in a different language

You may need to reset the printer: instructions here

WiFi setup to router: video here

For WiFi direct setup click here.
This is useful if there is no modem. Connect to the  modem if there is one available.

The 7955e can operate in either the 2.4 or 5ghz.  If it is stuck in 2.4ghz band, you cannot connect wifi direct if your laptop or phone is using the 5ghz band.   Best is to use the 2.4ghz band direct to modem from the printer.

Simple push button or WPS setup is an option in the router setup wizard
