Deskjet 3720

I have just purchased a deskjet 3720 printer. I setup the printer and everything looks like it has set up successfully. It shows printer is available inHp smart app. I am printing from Microsoft surface, when I press print , the printer makes a small noise and then stops. There are no jobs I the queue, but the printer doesn’t print. Any suggestions on what the problem is.

Hi @PhilH1975,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are facing issues with your brand-new printer. I'd like to help!

Are you getting any errors?

Is it a private (Home network) or a public Wi-Fi connection? Wi-Fi direct? Or Hotspot?
What device are you using the printer with a Windows computer, Mac, Android, or iPhone?

Meanwhile, download the Hp Print and Scan doctor and see how it goes.
