C4700
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have installed a Netgear AX12 router and I can no longer get my C4700 printer to connect via the wireless network.  It will go through the standard installation steps until the "Your wireless router requires a WPA security passphrase. The passphrase configured on your printer does not match exactly. Reconfigure your wireless network WPA security passphrase for your printer." error occurs.

The printer was fine on my (very) old Linksys network.  The passphrase entered is correct for the router.  I have read about firmware bugs, but I cannot find a new version of FW for this printer.  Any ideas on how to resolve this?

Thanks

Hi @Winprint

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the  "can't connect to new network" issue.

Let's restore network defaults and then try connecting the printer to the network-

go to the wireless menu on the printer --> go to restore network defaults.

It might take home screen after the restore is done, go back wireless menu-->wireless setup wizard

Once the printer connects to the wireless network, the blue Wireless light on the control panel turns on solid.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
