Thanks Trevor! Yes, I first had the problem with a Windows 10 laptop... it first worked & then it didn't so I thought it was a fluke & tried for hours to fix it & gave up. Went back to using the old computer with windows 7. Ordered a new desktop & upon first set up, I was able to install the CP4025 right away with no issues with printing (yay!). Then the computer did automatic updates the next day & it won't connect after that (which I suspect was the issue a few months ago with the laptop). I just can't understand what caused to to work with no issues at first, unless it's something in the update, because nothing else changed.

When I run the HP doctor assistant, it comes up that its a "Port Match" issue & it can't assign the correct port to it. So yes... it recognizes the printer but can't communicate with it for the print info. Of course I've downloaded every update here lol & now it's taking way too long to send the info so that's a flag & when it finally somewhat does, it gives an error message (in the queue) that the printer is out of paper when it's not.  It's driving me insane that it first worked & now it doesn't. This has been my work horse for almost 10 years (graphic designer printing labels & invitations) & I really don't want to have to buy a new printer cause HP can't find a fix.  I need the ability to manually feed sheets & it's hard to find a good set up these days like this one has. Ugh... looks like I'll break out the Windows 7 one to try to hook it up like you have & see if it will work for me. I have orders going out tomorrow & have to find a fix ASAP lol.  If my other HP (the 15 year old one) wasn't so **bleep** slow I'd just keep working on that one. Good luck Trevor & thanks for the help... hopefully HP will find a fix SOON!!!
