Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

hi all, my laser jet CP1525n will not print from my iOS devices using AirPrint.

I have researched the issue on the web, and was informed that i need to update/reload the firmware of the device.  I have looked on the printer's web server, and also downloaded the HP Smart App.  Neither give me the option to update/install firmware.  Can someone help please ?

Appreciate this is an older model but we love the printer and would prefer not to change it.

The latest firmware for your printer is from 2014 and only available for WINDOWS users.

Thank you.  My device is showing firmware dated 2012, so worth updating.  

do you know how I can access the files/utility to perform the update ?
