HP Color LaserJet Enterprise CP4525dn Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a CP4525dn printer. It has the duplexer integrated. Only on my windows 11 computer is this issue happening. Each time I reboot I have to manually set the Duplex Unit for 2 sided printing in the Printer Properties.

Once set it works fine until I reboot. Then it goes back to being not installed. Is there a registry key or something I can set to make this stay Installed?

Windows 10 this works fine and I do not have to reset the duplex setting.

You are using a embedded Windows driver which does not support all features properly. You should be using the HP Universal Printer driver for proper support of all functions. Delete your current printer and then download and install the HP UPD driver.

I tried your suggestions and found the issue remained. I decided to reset the print device to defaults and reconfigure. This seem to resolve my issue. I am not sure why that worked but it did. Thank you for the reply.
