Question: Does the HP Officejet Pro 7740 print mixed paper (letter & legal) print jobs. My HP printer has two separate trays. I have a loan documents package that have both letter & legal sized paper. I need for my HP printer to recognize both sizes and print accordingly.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Yes, the HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer can handle mixed paper size print jobs (e.g., Letter and Legal), especially since it has two separate paper trays. To ensure your loan document package prints correctly with both Letter and Legal pages, follow these steps:
Load Paper into Trays:
- Load Letter-size paper into Tray 1.
- Load Legal-size paper into Tray 2.
- Make sure the paper guides are snug against the paper stack.
Set Paper Sizes in Printer Settings:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Settings > Paper Setup.
- Set Tray 1 to Letter and Tray 2 to Legal.
Enable Tray Selection in Printer Driver (Windows 10):
- Open the document you want to print.
- Go to File > Print, then select your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740.
- Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Under the Paper/Quality or Features tab:
- Set Paper Source to Automatically Select or Use Printer Settings.
- Ensure Paper Size is set to Match Document Size or Letter/Legal as needed.
Use a PDF Reader that Supports Mixed Sizes:
- If your loan documents are in PDF format, use Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Go to Print > Page Setup, and ensure Choose paper source by PDF page size is checked.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
