Can i add promo code after enrolment

Hello,

I got my elderly father the HP envy photo 6234 and him being the stubborn man he is set it up before i retrieved the promo code for his 7 months free instant ink.

Is there a way to add this on now? 

Or do i need to cancel everything and start again?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
