HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Dear Sir,
I have purchased a new HP Envy 6132e all in printer.
I am having trouble connecting to my windows 7 pro computer.
I have searched the internet for answers with no success. I have phoned HP services, but they couldn’t find a driver that would work, they suggested using a usb cable, but I still needed a driver to connect, so did not work. I can print from other HP printers with no problems, and I can print to the printer with my phone and my iPad.
I have also tried to load a HP universal drivers, but this did not work.
It all comes down to getting a printer driver that works with Windows 7 pro.
I hope you can help me

Hi @Alan6321 

Probably could not work with Windows 7.

Checking on specifications says only for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

 

Anyways try to connect USB cable and use HP Print Doctor.

 

(1) Connect a USB cable between printer and computer:

(2) Then try to install with HP Print Doctor:

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

Hi ferRX

Thank you for your response, I have downloaded the program but it has installed an icon on the desktop, but nothing happens when I double click to open or run.  I have restarted the computer but still cannot get to  the area where i need  to say YES or to the area to accept. Can you give me any more help please.
