HP LaserJet 1102W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I built a new computer and installed Windows 10 (64) bit and when I downloaded the driver software package for my LaserJet 1102w from HP, the program looked liked it installed, but would not detect my printer.  If I tried to use the drivers for Windows 7 which were built into the printer, I was blocked by Windows from letting this program run.  (I presume there was a conflict).  I ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor and got no help from that program.  I tried to use install a new computer from Devices and Printers and when I selected "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings and then used USB001: Virtual printer port for USB along with Windows Update, this printer never came up in the list of drivers for HP.  What can I do.  I like my printer and I recently installed a new HP toner cartridge.  Thanks,

Hi,

Did you see an installation wizard or the installation may only extract?

Right-click the start button and select Run, paste the following and press OK:

C:\LJP1100_P1560_P1600_Full_Solution\HpSetup.exe

Now follow the steps on screen and check if you may see any difference.
