Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw

I'm trying to reinstall printer software because scanning to my PC stopped working.  Software downloaded fine. The window that comes up allows me to highlight the printer, but I can not check the box to select it and complete the install.  This happened shortly after receiving an alert to update the software, which I did, and after which it did scan fine once.
