HP ENVY 5055
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP ENVY 5055 printer. I recently moved about a year ago, and my computer was able to print to the printer via wireless connection using a hot spot. Once I moved, I now have internet but cannot print from my computer. At first, I was getting error messages that I could not find the driver of the printer.

Today, I uninstalled my printer's driver. I re-installed HP Smart (my blueooth is on) and when I go to "find a printer," the instructions specifically state to NOT select a printer with "DIRECT" in its name.  However, that is the only printer option that is available.  Oddly enough, when I have clicked "the device I am looking for is not here" an Citrix application for a hospital I used to work for pops up. This application was used for an online virtual teaching session but I uninstalled it a while ago.  I went to make sure it was uninstalled and sure enough, it is not a program on my computer.

I am unsure as to why this application is popping up when the HP Smart app should be. I am unable to configure wireless or a USB connection from my computer to my printer.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Let's restore the network settings: 1. From the Home screen, touch (Wireless) and then touch ( Settings ). 2. Touch Restore Network Settings, and then follow the onscreen instructions. 3. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Once done, try connecting the Printer to the Wi-Fi

Let me know if this helps.
