Can't add HP laserjet 107W in HP Smart on Windows 10

Hello, i'm having an issue adding the HP Laserjet 107W to the HP Smart app - the setup process ends right after finishing the wireless network configuration on the printer and i find the the applog the following error message:

I did a clean install of HP Smart, etc (IT guy here) but nothing helped. Drivers are also up to date, as well as Windows 10. Besides this, printing works so no issue with that.

I also found some wer files in the ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows... folder:

This is where the process fails - managed to take a screenshot - it stays on this screen ~10 seconds and closes without any other message

Thanks, unfortunately that didn't work either (already tried using that driver). My issue lies with HP Smart - that's where it crashed. Wireless printing works, but not adding the printer in HP Smart on Windows 10. I also tried 'cleaning' HP Smart with the Repair /  Reset options - that didn't helped either.

                Hello tsodfron,

       Do this:

If your USB printer is not found by the HP Smart app, make sure Windows is up to date, check for USB connection issues, and then reinstall the app. Note: An HP+ or eligible printer cannot enroll in HP Smart Advance or Instant Ink using a USB connection.

Thanks again, tried via cable as well, still doesn't work (actually not possible as the printer is wifi). Also tried clean install of HP Smart - didn't help either. At least i was able to add the printer in HP Smart on Android - that worked flawlessly .
