I have a used 4155 DeskJet.
I get "Unable to register the printer to your account - Error Code: UA_400_EB000U0410" every time. I did a factory reset.
I know the previous owner, and they say they deleted their Instant Ink/HP Smart account.

@murtland, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding "Unable to register the printer to your account - Error Code: UA_400_EB000U0410"!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If you are encountering the "UA_400_EB000U0410" error when trying to register your used HP DeskJet 4155 printer to your account, follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Update the HP Smart App
Ensure that your HP Smart app is up to date, as using the latest version can fix setup or connection issues.
- Open the HP Smart app in your app store.
- Click Update to get the latest HP Smart version. If only Open displays, the app is already up to date, and you can continue troubleshooting.
Restore Printer Factory Defaults
You mentioned you have already done a factory reset, but ensure it is done correctly to resolve any setup issues.
Open the HP Smart app or the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) to access advanced settings.
- HP Smart app: Click the image of your printer to open the settings and management tools, then click Advanced Settings under Settings.
- Printer EWS: Open the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS) using the printer IP address.
From the EWS home page, click the Settings or System tab.
- If prompted to log in, enter admin for the username (HP LaserJets only) and the PIN from the printer label, then click Submit or OK.
Click Restore Factory Defaults or Factory under Restore Defaults.
- After about 20 seconds, your printer automatically restarts.
Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network, if necessary.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
