Can't connect HP 3700 to a new network

I have an HP 3700 and it works fine but we just got a new internet connection which means the name has changed and I have not been able to connect it to the new network.  I followed the steps and when I try to find it using the HP smart app it never shows up.  I also don't know how to get rid of the old version of it, which it no longer recognizes in the app either.
