HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The printer is working fine through my wireless network with a Macbook Pro and a Dell laptop. I'm now trying to connect a desktop PC in another room to  the printer through an ethernet connection to the wireless router. I can't see why this shouldn't work but none of the printer drivers I've tried (including PS_AIO_06_C309g-m_USW_Full_Win_WW_140_175-4) seem to be able to locate the printer - and yes, the printer is on line! The troubleshooters have been no help at all. I've ven tried connecting the printer to the router with an ethernet cable and  it still can't be located.

Any suggestions?

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

I understand you need support and I'll be glad to help you out. However, for an accurate solution, I would need more details:

Any error when you try to print?

Could you check if you can access the printer EWS(Embedded web server) page. In order access the EWS page:

1.) On the printer control panel display touch Setup, touch Network select View Network Settings. Locate printer IP address or IPv4 address.

2.) Open a web browser on a connected device, type the IP address onto the address bar and hit Enter.

Let me know!
